Kaitlyn and Dalton’s wedding day at The Milestone in Georgetown was one for the books—a perfect mix of heartfelt moments, stunning details, and so much joy. From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much thought and love had gone into making this day unforgettable.
The couple’s wedding colors of tan and copper added a warm and elegant touch to the entire venue. Everything, from the crisp white floral arrangements to the clean table settings, reflected their sophisticated style. Kaitlyn’s dress was an off the shoulder tulle dress with a long layered train, and Dalton looked dashing in his tan suit. But the most memorable moment? Dalton breaking into tears during their first look. As soon as he saw Kaitlyn, the emotions hit him, and it was such a beautiful, raw moment. It even brought me to tears.
Adding to the charm of the day was the couple’s golden retriever, who stole everyone’s heart. Not only did their fur-baby walk down the aisle hoping to get pets from everyone but they also served as an official witness on the wedding certificate. Little puppy paw print and all.
As the day transitioned into evening, the reception was filled with whisky shots and dancing. But we couldn’t let the day go by without sneaking out during golden hour for some newlywed portraits. Just behind the venue, there’s a charming little meadow that caught the golden light perfectly. Kaitlyn and Dalton looked so in love, framed by the soft glow of the setting sun.
It was such an honor to capture every laugh, tear, and golden retriever tail wag. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for this sweet couple!
