Meet my family!
My husband, Michael, and I met in 2019 while in a league for competitive axe throwing. He is incredibly caring, extroverted, and matched my goofy energy. We got married in October of 2024 at the Lincoln Chapel in Georgetown, TX. Michael is now an avid pickleball player and helps me second shoot weddings on occasion.
We have two adorable pups. Bambi is a chihuahua/jack russell mix. She has ALL the energy. She loves to play fetch, guard the house, and lick your nose. Lucille is our chonky-potato dog. She prefers to sleep under blankets on the couch all day and snuggle with anyone who gives her pets.
A little more about me...
I grew up in a small town in Illinois. (Like graduating class of 44 students, small.) Most of my family is still spread between Illinois and Iowa, so I travel back home at least once a year. I have a degree in graphic design, which I did professionally for a few years after college. I then started pursuing a certification to teach art in elementary schools when my love for photography took off.
When I was in 4th grade I stumbled upon the movie "Puppet Master" one evening. It both terrified me and sparked my intrigue into scary movies. I also spent a lot of time in high school reading Stephen King books. (I love reading in general when it's not busy season.) I think my top three horror movies of all time are "What Lies Beneath", "The Ring", and "Shutter Island".
On the flip side though, I absolutely love comedy! Michael and I have seen many of our favorite stand up comedians live. My favorite so far was seeing Pete Holmes during a spontaneous day trip to Houston. Reno 911 is my favorite comedy series of all time, but The Office is a close second.
Random facts: I love singing karaoke, my favorite place traveled is Cambodia, and I don't drink coffee but am a sucker for a chai latte.
