An unconventional Remi's Ridge wedding.
Olivia and Matthew met while they were both members of their college's pep band. They shared many memories with their friends while in the music department. Olivia also had a full emo playlist as her "getting ready" music, so I knew right away that we would mesh well on their wedding day.
I was surprised and elated when I saw her elegant black wedding gown hanging in the bridal suite at Remi's Ridge. Accented with deep reds and purples in the bridesmaids dresses. My little photography heart fluttered as it was my first time to photograph a bride in black. What made the whole experience even better was the juxtaposition between the dark dress and her very bright and bubbly personality. I've never seen a bride and groom get so many giggles together during a ceremony. Which was made even more beautiful by the small pond and 20ft waterfall gently flowing behind them in the ceremony space at Remi's Ridge in Hayes Hollow. You could immediately tell that they just love to have fun with each other, and with many family and friends. (They were real close to almost doing a joke "first look" with the best man as well. That's the level of laughter and joy they bring to their relationship.) And of course everyone brought that fun loving energy to the dance floor!
