A mediterranean inspired wedding at Canyonwood Ridge.
CH and Nate’s wedding at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs, TX was an unforgettable celebration full of color, personality, and love. Nestled in the heart of Texas Hill Country, the venue offered sweeping views of rolling hills and oak trees—which was the main reason Nate and CH picked this venue.
Inspired by Mediterranean tilework and fresh lemon trees, their color palette of blue and yellow brought such a fresh energy to the decor. CH and Nate thought of every detail, from custom tile centerpieces and tile magnets gifted as wedding favors, to their braided unity rope, and their citrus pattern vow books. It was thoughtful, personal, and totally them. Their unique wedding bands are also a great example of how they prefer life outside of the traditional box.
CH looked stunning in a form-fitting lace trumpet dress, while Nate turned heads in a rich blue suit and yellow floral pattern tie, which perfectly echoed the tones of their decor. They chose Sola Wood Flowers for their florals to continue that vibrant color palette.
One of the most charming parts of the day? The beer burrows during cocktail hour! Guests were absolutely smitten with the adorable donkeys, decked out in floral garlands and little whicker packs full of cold drinks. It was such a fun and unique touch that had everyone smiling. They received lots of pets and treats from the guests and newlyweds.
Their wedding cake was topped with a deeply meaningful detail: Nate’s parents' original cake topper, a delicate crystal heart and hummingbirds that shimmered in the golden hour light casting through the large windows of the chapel. If I've photographed your wedding, you probably know I have a serious soft spot for those generational touches.
CH and Nate wowed everyone with their first dance—a choreographed ballroom foxtrot, balanced out by their playful parent dances that had everyone cheering and giggling. As the evening unfolded, the dance floor lit up with blue uplighting and custom lights shaped like foliage and their names danced across the ceiling and fireplace in the reception hall. It felt like stepping into a modern fairytale.
As the night drew to a close, guests lined up outside for a classic sparkler send-off, lighting the path for CH and Nate to begin their new journey together. It was the perfect ending to a day full of love, light, and the kind of joy that you carry with you forever.
CH and Nate, your wedding was vibrant, heartfelt, and uniquely you—and what a beautiful thing that is!!
