A timeless springtime wedding.

I don't know how to start this story in a way that conveys how special this day was. The week leading up to their wedding we feared what the weather forecast was showing us, but to all of our surprise the sun came out and the wind calmed making for an absolutely beautiful day in Belton. They planned their day at the Cathedral Oaks Event Center. With yards of big beautiful oak trees, a flowing fountain pathway, and large wooden accent beams in the cathedral ceilings. When we arrived the venue was set up flawlessly, and the energy was exciting. I knew it was going to be a memorable day!

When you are around April and Travis you feel like family. After being surrounded by their families and closest friends, you quickly realize it's a trait that runs in the family. It felt so warm, welcoming, and joyous. Everywhere you walked as people were getting ready you heard excited chatter and big laughs. Through every moment of the day you saw how perfectly these two fit together. From a surprise Chick-fil-a sandwich, to the jokes in their wedding speeches, and the moves on the dance floor.

Sometimes I get so wrapped up in doing my job snapping away with my camera, but I will tell you this time I truly felt like I was watching my own friends get married. I even had to wipe away a tear while April was dancing with Jamari. I also found myself bopping around to the music here and there between finding those moments to photograph. This will be a celebration that Sam and I will not be soon to forget.

It was an absolute honor to be apart of this day for such a beautiful couple, and I am so excited to share some of my favorite captures with y'all.
