An Auditorium Shores engagement session.

The good thing about winter in Austin, TX is that it really doesn't feel like winter for too long. Enrique, Zaira and I took these photos about a week before Christmas in 2023. We even started our session by the ice skating rink at the Long Center. Christmas music playing in the background. Other than it being a little overcast, it was a very comfortable day. It was a nice lower 70s and as you can tell below, we had beautiful light to work with.

More often than not, it takes a while to get comfortable in front of a camera. Heck, I even feel like an awkward turtle having my picture taken. That's why I start my sessions reassuring my clients that its a normal feeling, but about half way through they will feel like total pros! This was very true for Zaira and Enrique. Half way through it was like I barely had to suggest a change in their poses. Between their playful love for each other and just finding a posing flow, we were able to capture so many tender moments.

Now that these two are official SMP pros, I am so excited to see what magic we create on their wedding day!
