A vintage garden wedding day at Morgan Creek Barn.
Faith and Alex’s wedding at Morgan Creek Barn in Dripping Springs, Texas, was an absolute dream. Nestled in the heart of the Hill Country, Morgan Creek Barn provided the perfect backdrop for their vintage garden-themed celebration. With a stunning color palette of wisteria purple and French blue, every detail radiated romance and elegance.
The day began with an air of excitement as Faith and Alex prepared for their big day. Before the ceremony, the couple chose to share a private first look. This intimate moment was filled with a touch of humour as Alex turned to see his bride for the first time. His reactions was priceless! Faith's dress was an intricate off-the shoulder, lace, ball gown silhouette with one of the longest trains I have ever photographed.
Morgan Creek Barn is one of my favorite Hill Country venues. Its striking black exterior contrasted beautifully with the bright, airy interior, featuring white shiplap walls, soaring ceilings, and large windows that flood the space with natural light. We got lucky with the timing of their portraits, and caught a beautiful sliver of golden hour light peeking through a side window that illuminated them so beautifully for a "kiss" shot.
The reception was enchanting, with tablescapes featuring vintage-inspired decor, soft candlelight, and floral arrangements that mirrored the garden theme. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, heartfelt toasts, and a lively dance floor that kept the celebration going well into the evening. Faith and Alex’s goofy and playful personalities shone through in every detail, from their signature cocktails to their beautifully crafted wedding cake adorned with cascading blooms and a vintage set of porcelain doves sitting atop.
As the night drew to a close, Faith and Alex shared a private last dance and a classic sparkler exit. It was a picture-perfect ending to a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
