An intimate surprise proposal at Bull Creek
Hayden contacted me weeks before he planned to surprise his girlfriend, Brianna, with a romantic proposal. We hammered out every last detail, and even did location scouting together till we found the perfect spot. He did an amazing job creating a rouse so she didn't even half expect that this moment was about to happen.
I absolutely love capturing surprise proposals. Many photographers find it nerve wracking, because of course we fear the worst, of potentially missing this fleeting moment of surprise and overflow of love. But I find it exhilarating, and feel so honored to preserve this moment forever in photographs for the couple. These are the exact moments in my photography career that bring me so much joy and fulfillment. I get to surround myself with people's happiest moments, and I get to help them remember it forever.
All of Hayden's hard work in planning payed off so beautifully. Brianna was so shocked and could barely get the word "yes"out as her eyes welled up with tears. And on top of it all, her family was there to see it and congratulate them after he popped the question. Congratulations Brianna & Hayden!
